The Progress of our Yard...

David worked so hard last year putting in the yard...both front and back all by himself..placing each individual rock, digging the sprinkler lines, putting in professional lighting, laying the sod, and my fav...creating an awesome waterfall. I think he did a great job....check out the changes here...before and after pics...

I still need to take a complete picture of our backyard as of now, but you get the idea right? I am really loving the waterfall....its definetely my favorite part of the yard and also the kids' favorite...what fun!!

Cha, cha, cha Changes...

Celestia just finished up her first year of school....well preschool....I thought I'd post pictures of her on her first day of school and her last.......she sure looks grown up now, doesn't she?

Mother's Day Surprise!!!

Celestia's class sang us all a cute Mother's Day song today at her preschool and then they gave us all potted flowers....check out her great crafty-work!!!








They also made cute mother's day cards and filled in the blanks...here is what Celestia said about me:

My mother cooks lasagna.

My mother and I like to play my Belle thing. (her Polly Pocket)

I like it when my mother takes me to Wal Mart (come on...that was the only place to shop in Oklahoma...you gotta love Wal Mart, right? hehe)

I love my mother because she is nice to me.

If I could give my mother anything in the whole world, I would give her my toys.

Another Skirt

Well, I am on this little sewing kick....here is another version of my soon to be perfected twirl skirt....Celestia approves....that's all that matters right?

Dining Room Makeover

I finally talked David into painting my dining room. It has been about a year since he's painted anything for me...if you ever saw our house in Altus and knew how we had to repaint everything back to the original color before we left, you'll know exaclty why David hasn't picked up a paint brush since!!! (Just about every room in that house was painted a different color!...by him)

Soooo....although he was in a bad mood about it all day....he managed to get my dining room painted!!! Yeah!!! He did admit to me today that he "loves it!" I was glad to hear that. I love it too :)

Here is a before shot....and after shots....of course its dark and cloudy out right now, so the pictures turned out a bit dark, but you get the idea! Now I just need to work on my roman shades for the window :)
