Vintage Minnie Mouse

Here is my sweet Celestia headed off to her Kindergarten Halloween Party.  She is wearing the same costume my mom made for me when I was her age.  So fun with the added twirl skirt underneath!   Hopefully her "ears" show up in my mailbox today...urgh...I ordered them two weeks ago!  Still, she looks cute without the ears, right?

Jack and Grant

My mom took this sweet photo with her phone back in July.  I have been meaning to post it.   Jack with Grant when he was only a few days old.  Precious.

Snow, Snow, Snow!!!

Here are the boys playing outside this morning after Celestia left for school.  It snowed quite a bit yesterday and it is all pretty much gone now.  Celestia and Jack stomped around in the snow last night for quite some time.  They were having so much fun just making tracks through the snow.  It was cute to watch them.   I didn't get a picture of them last night, but here are my cute boys having fun this morning.

Celestia Gets a Hair Cut

I had a hard time getting a good picture of her hair, but I guess these will do for now.  She was making silly faces instead of smiling, but I think she really likes her new hair cut.

Grant is 3 Months Old

At the moment the camera is MIA and I don't feel like looking for it, so Grant and I did a little Photo Booth session with the computer cam...not too bad.  My hand holding him up looks  a little weird, but hey I was taking the picture with one hand and trying to balance him with the other oh well.  Don't you just love his new cozy outfit?  He's quite the charmer and oh soooo sweet.  I just love this age.

Grant's Blessing Day

We were fortunate enough to take a late vacation to Utah last week.  David's family has a cabin up in the Sundance area and we got to stay there for a week.....talk about lovely fall colors and a week of pure relaxation....well almost pure relaxation....I still had to entertain 4 kids the entire time.  We also decided to do Baby Grant's blessing out there at David's parent's house.  It was great.  Plus it was my birthday!  David and I had a great night out without the kids.  Cafe Rio and a nice evening drive....fabulouso!

Here is the best shot I could get of our whole family.

I tried to get a decent shot of my 4 kids together, but of course it didn't happen.....Mason crying, Grant crying, Celestia and Jack arguing...CLASSIC!!!!!

Boys+ Cars = Happiness :)

I just had to take this picture of my boys happily playing "cars" together on this cold, rainy morning.  Gotta love it!

Grant is 2 Months Old

Crazy.....This guy is now 2 months and  11 lbs.  I tried to get a picture of him smiling, but of course he tried not too.  Oh well.  He's still a cutie :)

Hot Air Balloon Fest

Complete with old cars to climb in....Jack and Mason were in love with this old VW and Jack wouldn't stop asking to go back, so he could go in "the Bug."

David's friend from work is fixing this one up and let the kids play in it.

Come on David, is this the best picture you could get of me?  At least there is ONE I guess....I seem to be the one that does all the picture-taking.

Mason loved watching the Hot Air Balloons get lit up!  Look at those sweet eyes.

Here is the best shot I could get of all the balloons lit up.  We were actually walking back to the car at this point and I made David turn around and get this shot.   I need a better flash or something because it was much brighter/colorful in person.  Oh well.

Look!! No training wheels!!!

What a big girl....
Yay!  Jack inherited Celestia's old bike.  He couldn't be happier..."See it DOES have BLUE handles"....he says.

Our first harvest.

 Squash!
Celestia and Jack washing their squash.  So cute.
It was Yummy!

The Queen is Here!

Look at my little princess all dolled up for dinner.

Celestia's First Day of Kindergarten

My little girl started Kindergarten last Monday.  She's loving it and she's riding the bus in the mornings with the great neighborhood kids too.   I can't believe she likes riding the bus so much.  She's getting to be so grown up.  Just to let you all know, I was not at all emotional sending her off to Kindergarten.  I love having one less kid around once in a while...wait did I just say that?  Oh yeah, I did...it really is easier to get errands done with just the two youngest with me.

Really funny story I just remembered that has nothing to do with her first day of school, but I just have to write it down because it happens ALL THE TIME.  I was at the grocery store yesterday with just my two youngest, Mason and Grant since both Celestia and Jack were at school and this older lady said to me, "Boy, you sure have your hands full!"  I just smiled and said "Yes!"  I thought to myself..."You have no idea lady!"

Look at this cute kindergartener...

Doesn't that classroom look a bit cluttered to you?  At least I think it does!  Her teacher, Mrs. Ray is just great!

The second day of school she rode the bus to school in the morning.  I still pick her up at 11:20am since there is no bus then.  She really seems to like it.  Plus, it's right across the street...I just couldn't resist!
