Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!
My parent's left on Tuesday, so we are just getting back to our normal routine. It was so much fun having them here. They are just great. Celestia always has such a hard time saying good bye. It sure makes it hard, but I guess its a good thing she likes her grandma and papa.
Jack is growing into such a sweet boy. He loves his sister, "Cestia" as he calls her. He's happy just following her around all day...well at least until Celestia starts to have a dramatic breakdown and begins yelling at him....oh how you wish they'd all just get along....ALL the time, right?
Mason is now smiling quite a bit. It took him a while to really start smiling, but now he's just a sweet smiler, especially when naked on the changing table??? What's with naked baby boys on the changing table? They just love to be "free" I guess!!!
So long for now, just thought I'd post a few comments for my curious "daily" visitors just to spice it up a bit, huh???
Love you all and miss you!

BumGenius!!!
Okay, okay...I know, you don't really want to hear about this, but I just have to share my new favorite thing....
CLOTH DIAPERS!!!!
I know what you're thinking, but just give me a second to explain....
These are not your momma's cloth diapers!!! No pins, no plastic covers, no dunking!!! You'd be surprised at how easy they are to use, how comfortable they are for baby, and how much you save in $$$. Plus you're helping keep tons of waste out of the landfill!!! How can you go wrong :)
I am hooked on the new BumGenius One-Size diaper....yep...ONE SIZE fits both my little Mason and my big Jack...slim and trim....soooo simple and easy to use, you'll be wondering why you didn't start cloth diapering years ago! hehe....the initial cost seems high, but when you consider you spend and average of $2000 per kid on disposable diapers overall, it's totally worth it!
So, just check them out for yourself at www.cottonbabies.com....you'll be hooked too if you're not careful.
Just had to share a bit of my excitement...I know you all are LOVING it!!!! haha!

Seriously, I'm not crazy, just a big fanatic! hehe :)

Cousin Kyle's Birthday Bash
My cousin Kyle is here in Denver training for the NFL draft for a few weeks and we've had the opportunity to have him come visit us a few times here in the Springs. He is such a sweetheart and Celestia just loves him. It was his birthday yesterday and we had a little party for him. My parents were in town as well which made it even more of a party! We had a great time with Kyle and wish him the best of luck with the upcoming draft.
David has been working feverishly on the basement along with his brother, "T" (short for Terry). He just returned from his mission and is starting back at BYU Idaho in April, so he came out here to help David for a few weeks before starting school again. It was great having him here...I'll definitely miss all of his great help with the kiddos during the weekdays when David was at work. It sure makes a big difference when you have more than one set of hands around all the time!!!
My mom and dad came out to visit us this last weekend and my dad got in on the action too...helping the boys with the electrical work in the basement. All of the framing is now complete, the electrical is just about done and then it will be onto the plumbing, insulation, sheetrock...etc....WOW...I am sure glad I don't have to do any of that!
Taking care if three little ones has been somewhat of a challenge, but not as bad as I was expecting. Mason has really been good to me...sleeping through the night...12 hour nights I might add just to brag hehe....from 7:30pm-7:30am.....BOY all this great sleep makes me think I might have some more.....haha!!!

Happy New Year
Well, I have no excuse except I'm lazy???? Obviously updating the blog more often was not first on my long list of goals for 2008, ha! Anyway, we had a fun Christmas visiting David's family in Utah. Celestia always has a blast with her cousin, Tommy.
We also had little baby Mason's blessing while we were there. It never seems to fail that my babies break out with the lovely baby acne just in time for their blessing pictures. It was still great to see all of our family. My parents even drove from CA to be there.
Mason is just starting to smile a bit. He's such a great baby. He loves to cuddle which I am so happy about, since Jack was not a cuddler. He sleeps so well....thank goodness or I'd probably be going crazy with three little ones...I need my beauty sleep, haha!
Jack practicing his stacking abilities!!! Don't you just love the boots...ha..ha
Mason 1 Month Old....right before Christmas
We had Christmas early at our house, so we didn't have to take everything with us to Utah since we were flying. Celestia loves her new white twirl skirt and "white shiny shoes"....just what she wanted from Santa!
Aunt Anna knew exactly what Celestia liked..... Can you say PRINCESS???

Happy Birthday to David!!!
After going to the Children's Christmas Party Saturday morning given by David's work, we headed over to the stables on base. It was a glorious day (as David would say). The weather was just perfect..sunny and warm for the 1st of December. Not really planning on it, we had Celestia and Jack experience their first pony ride. For only $5.oo we were able to have a horse to ourselves for a 1/2 hour. Celestia was sooooo excited to ride a horse. Jack was a little apprehensive, but did like it as well. Celestia especially had a great time and said over and over while riding..."Giddy up horsey, giddy up!!!" What a fun day for the family and birthday for Daddy!!!
Jack 17 months old.
Mason 2 weeks old.

He's Here :)
Mason James was born on November 20, 2007 at 2:56 a.m.. He weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20 inches long. He's just perfect. We are having so much fun having him around. What a big blessing this little guy is!
Here's the story:
I headed to my dreaded 41 week ultrasound appointment at 3:00p.m. on Monday November 19th. They of course said that my fluid levels were low and they were going to have to induce me that evening.
I was actually relieved...just tired of being pregnant. So, we headed over to the hospital and they started me on pitocin a little bit after 6:00p.m....the nurse was SO SLOW....we had been there since 4 p.m..
Once the pitocin was causing me to have regular contractions, the baby's heart rate would drop significantly with each contraction....also, after a few hours....I was not dialating very well, which was quite strange. My last two pregnancies were induced and they were rather fast....this one was not....something was wrong. I, of course, started to worry. C-section was not a word I wanted to hear. They took me off pitocin...then put me back on to see if things would change.
My midwife was starting to get quite concerned about the progression we were making. I could tell by the look on her face as she carefully watched the monitor as I had each contraction.
So, by about 2:30am I had dialated to almost an 8. The baby wasn't doing any better. The only thing we could to was to try and push this little guy out. So, amazingly enough, after only a couple pushes, I was able to push little Mason out. His cord was wrapped around his neck (which was the reason I wasn't progressing well because each time I had a contraction, he couldn't press down enough on the cervix to move his little body on down.) Anyway, I can't tell you how relieved I was that things went okay and he came out screaming. I felt so very blessed!!!
Here are some pictures of him....I hope you enjoy. He is just a little sweetheart.
